How much water can be filtered because it stops working?
12 to 18 months depending on how much water you are using. You may want to consider soaking the cartridge overnight, in a solution of 1/2 water 1/2 hydrogen peroxide or vinegar. This is recommended every 6 months to increase the cartridge lifespan.
